Hi all,
Just a bit of additional information for this week.
1) Remember the early, 7:45am rehearsal this Thursday for all band students grades 10-12 and ALL pit members.
2) I know some athletes will need to meet the band downtown on Friday evening. We ask that all athletes that have practice on Friday afterschool first come to the band area to get uniforms. These should be taken to practice along with instruments. Our parade line-up is the corner of Washington and Van Buren Streets, and our parade number is 83. If you need help finding us once downtown, simply ask any of the parade volunteers.
3) Because students will likely be with the band through the dinner hour, we will have pizza for students after school. We will eat first, then issue uniforms, get dressed and load buses. We will be on a very tight schedule so students must come immediately to the band area after school.
A Special Note from Mr. Arp:
For Saturday Oct. 1 our performance at CR Prairie, please feel free to attend and support the Little Hawk Marching Band! Tickets at the gate are $7 for adults and $5 for children/senior citizens. Our performance is at 2:20pm. Parking for ‘fans’ is on the north side of the Prairie HS complex off of 76th Ave SW. Looking forward to a strong Little Hawk representation!
