William Penn University

Hello Marching Band Members,

This is a year like no other yet, as you’re still playing in band, that has to be because you love it! Playing your instruments is something you can do for the rest of your life for the enjoyment to play and perform, and your next step after high school is to continue to play in college whether being a music major or any other major. Not only that but, you could receive scholarships to play – the same as college athletes. We can offer that to you here at William Penn University!

We are currently very fortunate here at WPU being able to perform “live” with our marching band at many games over the next 10 weeks. Regardless the situation, we are having a very successful season and already planning for and exciting 2021 season next fall.

We’ve put together a “Guide to College Marching Band at WPU” for the Fall 2021 season. It includes all of the band opportunities available to our students, photos and videos of our past performances, our scholarship opportunities, invitations to our events and performances, and you’ll also learn from our current members about their experiences and what being in the band was like for them. Regardless of whether you intend to come to William Penn or elsewhere, we’ve heard from many graduating high school students that this information was very helpful. To receive it, click here or use the QR code below, fill out the short form, and I’ll make sure it gets sent your way.

Here at William Penn, each year we get excited to perform our unique and innovative shows and would love for you to check us out!

Thank you and stay “#MarchingBandStrong”!

College fairs are an excellent opportunity to speak with a variety of schools at one time. Because they draw a large number of students from a variety of backgrounds and interests, it's also an opportunity to learn from the questions other students are asking. We recommend attending one of the Performing Arts College Fairs hosted by the Music Admissions Roundtable:
